Eugene Asante discusses moving ahead following the bye week.
The Auburn football team had a relaxing and fruitful bye week, both psychologically and physically. After six consecutive weekends of football, it was crucial for the players to rest and recover. Three consecutive losses provided time for the club to reorganize and focus on finishing strong in the remaining six games.
According to Eugene Asante of Auburn Rivals, football players sometimes need to refocus and rededicate themselves to their craft. “I believe the bye week was beneficial in terms of refocusing ourselves on all we needed to do and realizing that we still have goals to achieve as a team. Obviously, we set targets at the start of the season. Simply readjusting and turning our goals, and believing that we can end the season strongly.”
The Tigers will play at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
