Chelsea may not be 100% sure who their next manager will be next season, and that certainly includes Mauricio Pochettino remaining at Stamford Bridge,
but Argentina Newcastle manager Eddie Howe could be considered if the player is sacked or decides to leave.
According to Simon Phillips, the Blues have multiple candidates in mind to replace Pochettino, with multiple sources reportedly recently confirming that a new name,
Howe, is also being considered. Howe has endured a difficult period at Newcastle but his side are still fun to watch, beating Tottenham 4-0 at St James’ Park this weekend.
This moves the Magpies into sixth place in the Premier League table, but they are unbeaten and have won three of their last four games during this period,
winning five of their last eight in total after a disastrous series. . Only 2 out of 10 twins were born in winter, and the remaining 8 were lost.
Howe now appears to be back in the club’s big conversation, with Chelsea clearly considering him as a possible replacement for Pochettino.
However, it remains to be seen whether all Chelsea fans agree that he is the best candidate, with Phillips also mentioning
Roberto De Zerbi, Xavi and Arne Slott as other options. Howe has done an overall impressive job at Newcastle,
but leading the team into a similar situation to what happened to the Magpies earlier this season would have seen the team fall into some kind of lost moment four times.
In that case, he would have no chance of surviving at Chelsea. line. , including surprise defeats against Luton and Nottingham Forest.
There is also an argument that NUFC finished bottom of their group and failed to win the Champions League, despite a memorable win against Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the season.
