Chelsea are hoping to sign 25-year-old Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Serie A champions Napoli this summer.
Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has reported that Victor Osimhen is keen to join Chelsea and that an agreement could easily be reached on personal terms.
The Blues are ready to trigger his release clause and are currently negotiating payment terms with Napoli.
The 25-year-old striker has scored 13 goals in all competitions and could be a quality long-term signing for Chelsea.
Last season, he helped Napoli win Serie A with 31 goals. He has established himself as one of Europe’s best strikers and should be a huge step up from Nicholas Jackson.
