Chelsea could be targeting Bayern Munich for their star player this summer.
Chelsea made several additions to their attacking team in the winter and summer transfer windows of 2023.
For example, the Blues have acquired Cole Palmer and Mikhail Mudryk,
with the former having been a big hit at Stamford Bridge this season.
Since joining Chelsea from Manchester City, Palmer has made 34 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 12 assists.
Despite strengthening their attacking capabilities in the last two transfer windows, the club are currently turning their attention to Jamal Musiala.
According to Sport Bild, Bayern are trying to convince Musiala to sign a new contract at the Allianz Arena.
However, the magazine claims that Chelsea are one of the Premier League clubs to keep an eye on
the attacking midfielder and are prepared to do everything in their power to sign him
if he does not agree to a contract extension with the Bundesliga champions.
Other English teams said to be interested in Musiala are Manchester City and Liverpool.
The 21-year-old has reportedly already rejected a contract offer from Bayern.
Former coach Julian Nagelsmann once called him a “world-class” player.
Musiala is not the only Bundesliga striker that Chelsea are thought to be interested in.
The Blues have also been linked with Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirths, who is having an excellent season.
