Chelsea have welcomed the loan returns of Teddy Sharman-Low and Diego Moreira. Moreira, 19, has returned to France after a disappointing start to the season at Lyon following a temporary move to Ligue 1 last summer.
His recall was confirmed ahead of Chelsea’s Carabao Cup semi-final against Middlesbrough on Tuesday night following the mid-season returns of Andrei Santos and Cesare Casadei to Stamford Bridge.
“Chelsea striker Diego Moreira has returned from his loan spell at Ligue 1 club Lyon,” Chelsea said in a statement. Moreira returns to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad alongside Casadi and Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino and has revealed his plans for the duo until the end of the season.
“They both returned the loan. The good potential is that they will make the team, and every week, every game will determine whether or not they will make the team. I think that’s good news. “We had too many injuries and I think it was good to bring players back on loan.”
Meanwhile, Teddy Sharman-Lowe returns to Bromley after four games in the National League. “Bromley Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Rowe has been recalled by parent club Chelsea following his loan spell at the RELOC8 EM Community Stadium,”
Bromley said in a statement.“ The 20-year-old joined the club in the summer and made four appearances, including the opening game at Halifax Town and a further two appearances in the Isuzu FA Trophy.
Sharman-Lowe, who played for Redbridge in the London Senior Cup during his time with us, saved a penalty in 1-0 wins against Slough Town and Chippenham Town.
