Mizzou Legendary QB Chase Daniel to Host Charity Golf Tournament in Columbia, Proceeds Benefiting Current Football Team’s Facilities
Columbia, MO – Chase Daniel, the legendary quarterback for the University of Missouri (Mizzou), will be hosting a charity golf tournament this summer in Columbia. The event, which is set to take place at The Club at Old Hawthorne, aims to raise funds for the continued improvement of the university’s football facilities. The proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit Mizzou’s football program and its players, helping to enhance the team’s training, nutrition, and recovery resources.
Daniel, who is widely recognized for his stellar collegiate career with the Tigers, has become a fan favorite for his leadership and contributions both on and off the field. He played for Mizzou from 2005 to 2008, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in school history. Daniel’s efforts during his college years helped propel the Tigers to new heights, including a 2007 Big 12 North title and a memorable run in the BCS rankings.
With the support of sponsors and local businesses, Daniel hopes to bring together fans, alumni, and supporters of Mizzou football to raise both funds and awareness for the continued development of the program. This charity event is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that the current Mizzou football team has the state-of-the-art facilities it needs to compete at the highest level.
“I’m proud to be part of the Mizzou family and excited to give back to the program that gave me so much,” Daniel said. “This tournament will be a great opportunity for fans to get involved, have some fun, and help the next generation of Tigers achieve even more success.”
The event will feature a round of golf, an auction, and opportunities for fans to meet with current and former Mizzou athletes. Participants can register to play and support the cause via the Mizzou Football Foundation website.
